Each May, the Acton Memorial Library Foundation solicits donations to supplement the Library budget through a town-wide mailing. In the past, most of these donations were used to keep the Library open on Sunday afternoons. Now, the Foundation is focusing on expanding various collections within the Library. In addition, the Annual Appeal provides funds to keep the Library up to date with new technology, such as access terminals.

Money or other financial assets may be donated. The Foundation is organized to accept both short term and long term gifts, and can provide information on how to donate stocks and bonds. Acton citizens are encouraged to consider making deferred gifts (bequests, planned giving) or gifts in memory of loved ones.
